School Leaders - 2008
LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Throughout their life at Chapel Hill State School , all children will be offered many opportunities to develop their leadership skills. Major opportunities are provided in the following areas –
- School Captains
- House Captains
- Class Captains
- LOTE Captains
- Music Captains
- Captains of Sporting Teams
- Special events
- Group work.
Children in official positions will be expected to uphold the School Code of Behaviour to remain in office.
Children who are elected as leaders play a vital role in the school because they represent the needs and wishes of all students in a variety of formal and informal forums and meetings. Their part in the total school development is taken very seriously.
The
School Leaders of 2008 will be presented with their badges from the school captain in 2002 when these students were in Year 1. This will take place on Monday 25th February.
